At FUMC we know that family life is beautiful and also hard work. Our goal is to empower families to live faithfully as disciples of Jesus Christ, together. Our hope is to provide opportunities not just for children and youth but for their entire family to come together in meaningful worship, study, and fun. Traditional church models leave families isolated or separated. At FUMC we want to help bring families together in fun, interactive, and transformative ways. By partnering with parents, building relationships with each member of the family, and creating opportunities for families to spend quality time together, we hope to build a faithful community that loves God and loves others.
Worship is for everyone at FUMC
One of the ways we do work to empower families in their faith is by connecting to each member of the family during worship! Whether your family is coming to in-person worship or joining us online you will find resources to help everyone navigate and get more out of worship and to engage in faithful conversations beyond Sunday morning.
Worship is at 10:30am each Sunday and it is come as you are. Some people wear their "Sunday Best" and some come in jeans and t-shirts. We even had someone in a cow costume during Halloween! There's no dress code- we just want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome! Our activity boxes for children have things to keep their hands busy and their minds engaged with worship with activities that correspond to the worship or liturgical season each week.
Age-Level Ministries
There are many opportunities for Bible study and fun for all ages and stages at FUMC.
